Start with a Single Brood box includes top cover, hive body, 10 deep frames, inner cover, bottom board. All you need to do is add bees. Check out our Nuc kit packages. Nuc kits are 4 frames of bees with a queen.
You may want to consider beekeeping suits, jackets or gloves at a minimum you may want a hat with veil check our protective clothing section for more details.
We also recommend getting a smoker which makes it easier to work with the bees as it calms them down.
